In 1944, Morgan Metals, Inc. was established in Birmingham, Alabama, by Mr. Frank Morgan as Morgan Sheet Metal and Roofing. Mr. Morgan later moved the company to Decatur, Alabama, and continued running the company until 1976. In 1976, the company changed owners and the name was changed to Morgan Metals Company, Inc. By the late 1970’s Morgan Metals Co., Inc. had built a solid area reputation which was enhanced during the 1980’s and 1990’s by accomplishments as a major industrial facilities contractor.

The company assets were purchased in 1994 by Mr. Randall Davis who renamed his company Morgan Metals, Inc. In his 30+  years with the company, Mr. Davis has seen Morgan Metals, Inc. grow from a small company that handled residential gutter installations  and fireplace covers to a company that routinely delivers million dollar projects to industrial clients. While Morgan Metals, Inc. is capable of handling these large projects, our core business remains working with small to mid-size companies to meet their metalwork needs.

Equipment upgrades over the years have enabled Morgan Metals, Inc. to move past their beginning metal handling capability of 1/16” thick material to their current handling capability of 1/2” thick material. The company is committed to continuing to change and grow to meet the needs of customers.
